Himanshu’s early experiences working with various non-governmental organisations taught him about the power of collective action and the potential of marginalised communities. He devoted his time and talents to working with Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) to help farmers and craftsmen improve their livelihoods. His unwavering efforts aided these FPOs in gaining better market access, fair prices, and general economic well-being.

What truly distinguishes Himanshu is his everlasting passion for cuisine and culture. He was exposed to a complex tapestry of flavours, fragrances, and traditions while growing up in India. His culinary exploits developed in him a deep respect for the variety of his country’s cuisines. Himanshu recognised that promoting good and nutritious cuisine was not only an economic opportunity, but also a way to preserve and celebrate his homeland’s cultural legacy. Driven by a constant pursuit of excellence, Himanshu ensures that each Highland Delights product undergoes rigorous testing and quality control standards. He recognises that true health entails more than just foods and flavours—it includes farmer well-being, environmental preservation, and consumer happiness.

Beyond his love for food, Himanshu has always been a compassionate soul. His heart melts for stray dogs, and he firmly believes in giving them a voice and a chance at a better life. As part of Highland Delights’ corporate social responsibility, he integrated a program dedicated to helping stray animals. This initiative has not only brought warmth and care to countless furry friends but has also inspired other organizations to follow suit.

Himanshu’s quest for knowledge drove him to study in the United Kingdom. This encounter was life-changing because it introduced him to a diverse range of cultures and cuisines. His senses were aroused by the exospore of multiculturalism, which broadened his views and inspired him to design items that would appeal to a global audience.
